The last 2 years has seen Oli mature from the run of the mill pub band leader, to international blues singer guitarist playing all the leading festivals all over main land Europe & Scandinavia, New Zealand and of course the UK, this award is well deserved for the hard work and dedication he has shown.

Joanne seems to have been knocking on the door of great things for over a decade but the last 12 months she has been taking the United States of America by storm with nominations at many of the major awards in that country. It gives us great pleasure to award Joanne with the title Female Vocalist 2010.

Ian Siegal and his band are no strangers to most blues fans in the world of blues, the bands last three albums Swagger, The Dust & Broadside have been getting some amazing reviews, but it is the bands live show that sets them so far ahead of the field. Worthy winners The Ian Siegal Band.
Paul Jones started playing harmonica in the early 60’s playing with the great British blues man Alexis Korner, eventually forming his own band The Blues Band, 30 years later and they are going stronger than ever. Well done Paul Jones British Harmonica Player of 2010.

Matt Schofield has been recognised for several years as the best British Guitarist on the blues scene with all the votes Matt received this only proves what most people have thought for all of those years, Congratulations Matt British Blues Guitarist 2010.
Andy Graham has been one third of the driving force behind The Ian Siegal Band for over 10 years; this award is no surprise to the legions of fans who have witnessed his rock solid bass playing live, thoroughly deserved award.

It seems incredible Simon has been playing drums for over 25 years in all sorts of different genres of music, when he joined up with Oli Brown it was a match made in heaven, Simon has been the rock steady beat behind the band for over 3 years, has a great future in front of him.
Jonny Henderson is one of the busiest keyboard players in the country playing with The Forster-King Band, Matt Schofield and when Ian Siegal needs a keyboard player it is always Jonny he calls, the “King of The Hammond Organ” took most of the votes in this section, Congratulations Jonny.

Alaskan born blues man now living in Scotland and who has taken up British citizenship, is one of the finest lap steel players in the world, venues certainly rock when Son Henry & The East Side Kings are in town. Congratulations Son Henry on this award.
With such an amazing array of young blues talent around at the moment this is an amazing award to pick up, Congratulations Oli on getting together an amazing band and playing some amazing blues.

Blues on The Farm has for many a year been the festival the blues artists preferred to perform at, now the people who pass through the gate have had their say and voted BOTF British Blues Festival 2010. Congratulations.
Well deserved winner, the album showcases Matt’s fantastic guitar mastery and vocal prowess along with his song writing and producing skills.
Joe Bonamassa has had a mercurial rise to fame 5years ago he came to the UK and did five small venues as if testing the water, culminating this year with him playing The Royal Albert Hall. Award Joe Bonamassa Overseas Artist 2010.Well deserved
