The last 2 years has seen Oli mature from the run of the mill pub band leader, to international blues singer guitarist playing all the leading festivals all over main land Europe & Scandinavia, New Zealand and of course the UK, this award is well deserved for the hard work and dedication he has shown.

Joanne seems to have been knocking on the door of great things for over a decade but the last 12 months she has been taking the United States of America by storm with nominations at many of the major awards in that country. It gives us great pleasure to award Joanne with the title Female Vocalist 2010.

Paul Jones started playing harmonica in the early 60’s playing with the great British blues man Alexis Korner, eventually forming his own band The Blues Band, 30 years later and they are going stronger than ever. Well done Paul Jones British Harmonica Player of 2010.

Matt Schofield has been recognised for several years as the best British Guitarist on the blues scene with all the votes Matt received this only proves what most people have thought for all of those years, Congratulations Matt British Blues Guitarist 2010.

It seems incredible Simon has been playing drums for over 25 years in all sorts of different genres of music, when he joined up with Oli Brown it was a match made in heaven, Simon has been the rock steady beat behind the band for over 3 years, has a great future in front of him.

Jonny Henderson is one of the busiest keyboard players in the country playing with The Forster-King Band, Matt Schofield and when Ian Siegal needs a keyboard player it is always Jonny he calls, the “King of The Hammond Organ” took most of the votes in this section, Congratulations Jonny.
